Each of the five (5) cottages is named after a Chinese Miner who worked in the region´s tin mines over a century ago (from the top of the ridge, left to right): Ah Moy, Ah Ping, Fon Hock, Chintock and Ah Back.

Settlers hutSettler’s Hut now open! Formerly our Chinese miners history museum, we have renovated this hut to provide fully self-contained accommodation for groups up to six persons. The hut has been set up with mountain bikers in mind. Our budget accommodation is priced at $120 per night for one or two people plus $30 for each additional person ( maximum 6)—continental breakfast included. You can book through our sister web page

All cottages and Settler’s Hut are fully self-contained with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facility,TV & DVD player, a separate bathroom with shower and toilet and a private outdoor BBQ area. Car parking is immediately next to each cottage. To ensure a relaxing stay, the cottages are free of wifi signals; however there is 3G wireless reception for both Optus and Telstra devices and limited wifi available at our reception office. We have tried hard to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Ah Moy and Ah Ping cottages have two bedrooms. Ah Moy is set up for disabled access and has a queen bed in each of its bedrooms—so Ah Moy cottage is suitable for two couples (4 adults). Ah Ping cottage is better set up for families because it has two king single beds in the second bedroom. Ah Ping is suitable for 4 persons.

Fon Hock, Chintock and Ah Back are studio cottages suitable for one couple (2 adults) only. These cottages have double showers in the (separate) bathroom and Fon Hock and Chintock have a private outdoor heated spa. And of course like the other cottages, each has a full kitchen, laundry facility and is kept warm in winter by gas-fired heating. These cottages are very private and romantic, so that you can have a special spa experience out under the stars listening to the owls and watching the falling stars...
